How to Do Factory Reset Android Phone

If your device is not working up to the mark lately and you are looking for options to resolve the issue, it’s highly likely you have considered resetting your device. Factory resetting your  android phone does not remove the device’s operating system but instead resets it back to its original version of apps and settings. Also, there is a common misconception that resetting harms your phone if you end up doing it multiple times, but it has proved to not be true. So, if you want the originality back in your system settings, follow these simple steps and factory reset your phone.

Step 1: Open up settings in your android phone.

Step 2: Search for the General Management section in the settings menu and click it.

Step 3: Click on Reset button

Step 4: A Reset menu opens. Locate the Factory Data Reset option and click on it.

Step 5: It will give you a detailed list of things that will be reset and return to default settings. Once you review all the information, click on Reset.

Note that these steps are specially for Samsung devices and steps might differ a bit for other android models. You can alternately search for Reset in the search bar given in settings menu of your device and can continue with the rest of the steps.
