As Windows has announced windows 11 updated version of windows 10, many users have switched to the latest version but some are facing several issues under the windows 11 operating system. One of the issues is the popular windows 11 error code 0x8000ffff. 

Since several users have reported that they are facing this error code often. We all know that Windows 11 is still in its early stages. Delete the Microsoft Store Cache

Step 1. Press Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.

Step 2. Type wsreset.exe and hit OK.

Step 3. A command prompt window will get opened, and it will automatically clear the Microsoft Store cache.

     Try running Windows Update troubleshooter

Step 1. Press Windows + I, it will launch the Settings app, and click on Troubleshoot on the right in the System tab.

Step 2. Click on other troubleshooters.

Step 3. Click on run tab present at the right of Windows update.

Step 4. Now, you have to wait for the troubleshooter to detect the problem.

The primary approach when eliminating errors should be to run a relevant troubleshooter, if there’s one for the problem. The troubleshooter will automatically diagnose the problem. By doing this, all the necessary changes are done in most cases.

Once the troubleshooter is done running. Check if the 0x8000ffff error code in Windows 11 is fixed or not. If the problem still exists, I will advice giving it a try to Restoro, it will scan the PC for damaged and missing system files and automatically repair or replace them.

   Try running DISM scan

Here, DISM stands for Deployment Image & Servicing Management. This is a built-in tool in Windows 11. The function of DISM is to ensure if the health of the PC is good, and if not, it restores the health of your PC.

Step 1. Right-click on the Start menu on the taskbar and open the command prompt as an administrator.

Step 2. In the command prompt, write DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth and press Enter.

Step 3. The process will start looking for the error or corrupt files.

Step 4. When the process gets finished, write DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press Enter.

Step 5. When the whole process is completed, perform reboot on your Windows 11 machine and see if this fixes the issue or not.
